COMING TO THE CONGRESS CENTER with Public transportation

  • From the airport
    By Rhônexpress Express Tram service. Rhônexpress operates every day and links Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport with the Lyon Part-Dieu business district and railway station in less than 30 minutes. When you are in Part-Dieu you can take a taxi or the bus C1 (see below)
  • From the Part-Dieu railway station
    By Bus C1 (electric tram system), Cuire Direction, Stop Cité Internationale – Centre de Congrès (12minutes)
  • From downtown (Place Bellecour)
    By Bus C5, direction Rillieux Semailles / Vancia, Stop Cité Internationale – Centre de Congrès (15minutes)
  • Use entrance H of the congress center.

Transports en Commun Lyonnais (TCL) is France’s 2nd largest public transport network. TCL’s very dense network of metros, trams and buses lets you travel around the Lyon urban community and the region easily and rapidly.

The TCL network is:

• 2 cabin transport lines (Vieux Lyon / Basilique de Fourvière)
• 5 tram system lines
• more than 120 urban bus lines

VÉLO’V: SELF-SERVICE BICYCLE RENTAL
Since 2005, Greater Lyon residents have been provided with a fleet a self-service bicycles, known as Vélo’V. The system currently has more than 4 000 Vélo’V bicycles spread over 340 stations in Lyon and Villeurbanne.
Simple, original and convenient, it is a wonderful way to motivate people to use soft means of transport. There are already 323 miles of bicycle lanes in the city.

CYCLOPOLITAIN: A GREEN TAXI!
These new and original electric tricycles, driven by young drivers called Cyclonauts, take you to the destination of your choice. The vehicle is a tricycle fitted with powerful electrical assistance and can transport two passengers in addition to the Cyclonaut.
